What is CFUnit?CFUnit is a unit testing framework for ColdFusion (CFML), modeled after the popular JUnit framework. CFUnit is an Open Source project and is freely available. CFUnit is no longer supported, its makers have long since moved onto their new project, Palnook Friend Finder. This site remains active for anyone who prefers to still use it. For anyone new to unit test ColdFusion, we suggest you take a look at MXUnit, which is still active and well supported. MXUnit works much like CFUnit. A final message form the CFUnit founder:
"I would like to thank everyone for your support over the years. CFUnit was a great adventure, and I value the friends I made during this experience. I am glad my friends at MXUnit have taken up the CF Unit Testing banner, and have done such a great job creating a robust framework. If you would like to keep in touch, please feel free to find me on Palnook's blog.
- Thank You"
CFUnit PrimerA new primer has been added to the CFUnit site. This document will help new users get started using CFUnit. The document can be viewed here. Though it does not cover the full power of CFUnit this primer will hopefully help new users get a start using CFUnit and get them interested in learning more.
